I have walked by this riverfront since I was a little boy. I used to come play at the small fountain and park in front of the Federal Courthouse and have pictures of myself throughout various ages and stages of my life along this part of the Cape Fear. I remember when they tore it down, tore up the street, found a buried canon, and built this new concrete slab. I have walked by it almost every night and day waiting to see what they will use it for and fantasized about art hanging on the Fence. There comes a point when art begins to scream at you and an artist knows when he must answer the call. With 2025 fast approaching, that time is NOW. It is my goal to help Wilmington become an International Art Destination and that we get the opportunity to show the world the incredible talent and magic that exists in our enchanted town on the Cape Fear and by the beach.

For this show I selected some pieces old and new to showcase myself, my town, and get to do it alongside some of the most dedicated, interesting, and intense artists I have met in Wilmington who I have the immense pleasure of calling my friends and who inspire me constantly.
